Happy Wednesday, everybody. We hope your day is off to a great start, and if you're just getting home from work, we hope you'll be able to rest. We just have a few election reminders for you, and then a very long list of events and activities.
A couple election reminders, and then we're on to today's happenings, and there are many, 34 in fact. There is something for everyone.
The primary is coming up fast. In-person, early voting starts this coming Saturday in the City Council chamber at City Hall from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday is also the last day to register to vote in the primary. You can do that in the Election Commission office at City Hall from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Medford Election Commission page has Democratic and Republican sample ballots and the full election calendar. It also has information about how to apply to be an election worker.

Senior Center Activities: Tech and MBTA support at 9 a.m. – call to reserve your spot, 781-396-6010; zumba gold at 10 a.m.; Thai chi at 11 a.m.; bingo at 1 p.m.; movie at 1 p.m.
Medford Square Runners meet at 6:45 a.m. in front of Donuts with a Difference for a 5-6-mile run. This is a zero-drop run, meaning the group runs for a little bit and then stops to let everybody catch up if necessary. Group asks that all runners are able to keep a minimum pace of 10 minutes per mile.
Playgroups at the Park - Capen Street from 9 to 11 a.m. with Medford Family Network. Event for children up to age 8 includes art, music, and movement activities, balls, bubbles, parachute play, and storytelling.
Sisters in Sweat Exercise Group at 9:30 a.m. at West Medford Community Center Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Walking and other self-led, low-impact activities.
Yoga Story Time with Ava Dussault at 10 a.m. at Medford Public Library for kids ages 3-7. Ava will share a story, teach some gentle yoga poses, and bring a craft. Registration required.
Senior Social Service Office Hours from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Medford Public Library with Nike Gregory Elwell, who will be available to help seniors ages 60+. Drop in, no appointment required.
Social Service Office Hours with Jason Stone from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Medford Public Library for Medford residents to get help and resources for mental health, grief, substance use, housing, food, heating. Stone is the Medford social services coordinator.

Paddle Boston – Medford from 12 to 7:15 p.m. at the Condon Shell, weather permitting. Walk-up anytime to rent a boat. Limited advanced reservations also available. Last boat goes out at 6:15 p.m. All boats must be returned by 7:15 p.m.
