There is no way you could be bored in Medford over these next few days, even though we're supposed to get some rain Saturday and Sunday. There is so much going on in this city from Friday through Monday, and we have a full calendar for you.

Monday is Patriots' Day, and that means it is also Revere's Ride – Medford Pride!, when Paul Revere will arrive on horseback at 43 High Street, which is the former home of Captain Hall and now the ICCM. During last year's event, he gave a talk for the children in the audience, which included young Jack Laskey, pictured above in his tricorn hat and Red Sox shirt.

This year's event will include, as usual, festivities for all ages in the square and Revere heading off to the Paul Revere Restaurant after his stop at the ICCM.

However, we have two things to give you a heads-up on. First, there has been a time change for this year's event. Festivities in the square will start at 10:30 a.m., and Revere will arrive around 11:30 a.m. Also, there is an addition. At 10:15 a.m., the city will dedicate the new statue of Medford's Revolutionary War heroine Sarah Bradlee Fulton at City Hall.

By the way, the Revolution 250 Podcast did a segment with Bob Hyldburg to discuss Sarah Bradlee Fulton. Hyldburg is a re-enactor and local historian and talks about the life and times of Fulton during this podcast.

Now, here's how not to be bored...
