Brookline Bank veterans Malinda Reagan and Tina Caruso to open Everett Bank’s new High Street branch in West Medford

MEDFORD — Everett Bank is pleased to announce the hiring of two longtime Medford banking leaders to oversee its new branch in West Medford: Malinda Reagan and Tina Caruso. Both bankers were formerly with locally based Brookline Bank before its acquisition by a regional multi-state financial institution.

We bring you back to how banking should be — treating people with respect, addressing them by name and taking care of their needs,” said Business Development and Client Services VP Tina Caruso. “Bigger isn’t better. What matters is how we treat one another. We’ll provide our customers with an exceptional experience.”

Malinda’s roots in Medford run deep. Born and raised in Medford, she began working in Medford banking in 2004. She has served on the West Medford Community Center Board since 2021, most recently as its president for the past two service years. Malinda supports the Middlesex Valley NAACP, is a member of the Chevalier Organ Society, and is involved in the Planning Committee for Hoops and Hope, which is celebrating 10 years of honoring Medford’s youth.
Tina also has deep roots in the community. She is the past president and current member of the Executive Board of the Medford Chamber of Commerce, chairperson of the Events Committee, and a member of the Strategic Planning Committee. Additionally, she is the past president and current treasurer of Thursday Fortnightly, a 100-year-old philanthropy organization in Medford.
The new branch will open in October with some exciting surprises for the local community, including artwork, events and promotions.
“Our goal is to not just be another bank on High Street — it’s to be a professional banking resource for the community of Medford,” said Malinda.
