The Kiwanis Club of Medford has donated approximately $40,000 in 2026 to organizations, programs, scholarships, and community initiatives throughout Medford and the surrounding area. These contributions represent the club’s continued commitment to strengthening the community and supporting children, families, seniors, education, healthcare, youth programs, and local organizations.
In 2026, the Kiwanis Club of Medford provided support to numerous organizations and initiatives, including Globe Santa, Medford Senior Center Inc., Greater Medford Visiting Nurses, Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Melrose Wakefield Hospital, Easterseals Massachusetts, Medford High School Football, Medford Youth Soccer, Medford Recreational Hockey, West Medford Community Center, Housing Families, Medford Community Chorale, Medford Chamber of Commerce, Portal of Hope, Medford Jingle Bell Festival, Medford Community Policing, Medford Educational Foundation, Run Medford, and The Outreach Program.
The club also continued its support of youth leadership and service through Circle K, Key Club of Medford, Kiwanis Builders Club, and Kiwanis Action Club, along with providing Kiwanis scholarships and other educational opportunities.
Additional 2026 support included the Globe Santa Luncheon, community dinners, and other local programs and initiatives.
“Giving back to our community is at the heart of what Kiwanis is all about,” said Kiwanis Club of Medford President Rita Cornelio. “We are proud that, together with our members and supporters, we were able to provide $40,000 in assistance during 2026. Every contribution helps strengthen the organizations and programs that serve our community.”
