In Medford, Friday, Feb. 6
Today, we have a heads-up for you, plus a poll you can take ahead of the Superbowl, and a list of some things happening in Medford today.
It's Friday. Sandy says, snow is possible today and tomorrow so keep your shovel handy, and have a great weekend.
Heads-up: The library is opening late today ( at 1 p.m.) because of a staff training.
We don't need to tell you there's a big sports weekend ahead. The Winter Olympics will have a full day of skiing, hockey, curling, figure skating, and luge, followed by the opening ceremonies. And, the Super Bowl is Sunday evening.
Speaking of which, what will you be watching, if anything, during the Superbowl half? Bad Bunny is headlining the official Super Bowl half-time show, and Turning Point USA is hosting its own half-time show.
Take our poll on Facebook and let us know what you'll be watching.
Don't forget about the Puppy Bowl, which airs on Animal Planet at 2 p.m. on Sunday. Team Ruff will take on Team Fluff, and all the pups are up for adoption.
On the radar: The Medford High School Building Committee has several meetings scheduled to look at designs, cost estimates, and the building process. The next one will be Wednesday, Feb. 11.
