Good morning, Medford, Wednesday, August 5
Happy Wednesday, everybody. This morning, we're talking a bit about politics and the race heating up between Senator Ed Markey and challenger Seth Moulton. Then, we'll get to today's happenings and an 'In Case You Missed It' about youth from the Pine Ridge Reservation visiting the Medford area.
I have a few snippets for you this morning, before we get to today's happenings.

In election news, the race between Democrats Ed Markey and Seth Moulton has been heating up as we head toward the primary, which is Sept. 1, with early voting beginning on Aug. 22.
Incumbent Senator Ed Markey is being challenged by Congressman Seth Moulton. As you will see in Will Dowd's story this morning, the two spent Monday's debate at the Boston 25 studios in Dedham accusing each other of corruption. But, Dowd brings another facet to the story by also covering the debate's moderators. The story will drop at 9 a.m.
In summer events news, the United India Association of New England reached out to GKM about a celebration the group is hosting in Medford this coming Sunday at Columbus Park. It's called Spirit of India, a carnival festival and international youth day. This flyer has more information about it:
