Happy Thursday, everybody. We're leading off with this morning with In Case You Missed it. It's been a busy week, and it isn't over yet. We're working on Seth Moulton's Medford Town Hall, a look at how the first Medford Open Studios went, the latest on zoning, and the schools budget and facility repairs. Stay tuned for those stories.

Bellevue Pond Water Quality Training and Site Walk from 9 a.m. to noon with Mystic River Watershed Association. Meet at Bellevue Pond parking lot at 9 a.m. Learn how water quality, drought and pollution impact the landscape at Bellevue Pond. Register.
Drop-in Playtime from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Medford Family Network Family Center.
Toddler Time at 10:30 a.m. at Medford Public Library for children ages 2-3 to read books, sing songs and learn gentle movement activities.
Senior Knitting Club at 1 p.m. at West Medford Community Center. Beginners can learn from experienced crafters.
Farmers Market from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Condon Shell. School is out for the summer, so there will be kids' activities, including face painting, coloring, and a scavenger hunt. There will also be a neighboring beer garden, plus produce, meats, fish, baked goods, beverages and artisan crafts. Summer Street Stompers will perform from 3 to 5 p.m., and Trail Mix – Uncommon Folk will perform from 5 to 7 p.m.
Teen Manga Drop In Book Club at 3:30 p.m. at Medford Public Library for teens to talk about their favorite manga series and watch anime clips.
Zoning Board of Appeals executive session at 6 p.m. via Zoom. According to the agenda, the board is expected to go into executive session to discuss strategy relating to pending litigation known as Refah v. Medford ZBA et al. Massachusetts Land Court, Case No. 23 MISC. 000657.
Peg Doll Book Reviews from 6 to 8 p.m. at Medford Public Library for kids ages 4+ to decorate a peg doll avatar, talk about the book they read, and help create video book reviews.
Intro to Block Printing Workshop from 6 to 8 p.m. with artist Matt Hassan, who will provide step-by-step instruction. Purchase tickets in advance.
Pan-Mass Challenge Fundraiser from 6 to 9 p.m. at Medford Brewing.
Awesome Artists at 6:30 p.m. at Medford Public Library for kids ages 5+ to learn about an artist's life and work and then work on a project in their art style.
Teen Bad Art Night from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Medford Public Library for teens in middle school and high school to follow along with a paint tutorial, but with an unknown obstacle in their way. Will it be a masterpiece or a disasterpiece? Join in to find out. Registration required.
Zoning Board of Appeals meeting at 6:30 p.m. via Zoom to take up eight new applications.
Make Your Own Kimchi from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Medford Public Library. A hands-on introduction to making traditional napa cabbage kimchi (baechu-kimchi) while learning how lacto-fermentation works.
Spirit Ghost / Hereboy / Doss perform beginning at 7 p.m. at Deep Cuts.
