Today, we're starting off with a thank-you. Thank you to everyone who stopped by the GKM table during Saturday's Medford Chamber Oktoberfest. It was great to see you in person, and we appreciate your thoughts on our coverage of what's happening in the city. Crystal Yormick, who did an internship with GKM and has since become a reporter, will have a story for you today about the event. Stay tuned for that.
The other thing we want to mention today before we get to today's happenings is that some important dates are coming up on the election calendar. Early voting for the November general election will run October 17-23 at City Hall. The last day to register to vote is October 24.
The Elections Commission publishes a full election calendar and sample ballots, and there is a link to the state's guide to the ballot questions. Follow the link to access those resources.
