Medford artist Rose Lambias is featured this spring at The Gallery@57 in Malden with “In the LIMELight: Feathers & Petals,” a collection of nature-inspired watercolor florals.
A self-taught artist, Lambias draws on New England landscapes—from Maine’s rocky coast to quiet gardens—to create works that capture delicate detail and moments of calm. After starting in oils in her twenties and pausing during her banking career, she returned to painting in 2010, focusing on watercolor and acrylic.
In 2024, she published and illustrated a children’s book, "Sunflowers Dance at Night," inspired by her artwork. Lambias also serves on the board of Arts Medford.
The exhibit runs April 1 through May at 57 Pleasant St., Malden, with a free Meet the Artist reception on May 1 from 6 to 8 p.m. A portion of sales will benefit the Disabled American Veterans Association.
