Medford election update
There are just under 200 ballots left to be counted for the Medford 2025 municipal election.
The election results released on Tuesday after the polls closed in Medford were the unofficial results. Officials are now counting the ballots, including the provisional ballots, that could not be machine tabulated on Tuesday.
According to Medford Elections Manager James Blatchford, there are just under 200 ballots that still need to be counted. He said he expects to have the updated election numbers available on Monday.
It is unlikely the results of the election will change, even though some candidate totals were separated by only a few votes. For example, in the City Council race, Liz Mullane came in with 6,585 votes and Miranda Briseño came in with 6,498.
