“America, U.S.A.,” is a timely, rich, exploration of America’s legacy and the hard truths of this nation’s past — as America approaches its 250th anniversary. Glaude is a powerful voice of conscience in our tumultuous world, calling on us to interrogate our conceptions of innocence and freedom and the stories we tell ourselves about our past and present.

The work of the Mystic Valley Area Branch NAACP is rooted in righting America’s wrongs, with a focus on ensuring political, educational, social, and economic equality for ALL persons and eliminating race-based discrimination. The organization strives to better understand the past, in order to work towards a more equitable and just future.

Glaude appears by special arrangement with Newton-based American Program Bureau.
