Craving a Bobby Flay steak dinner or some fried chicken a la Marcus Samuelsson but don’t know where to get it? Soon you will have to wonder no more.

The Medford City Council granted a nonalcoholic common victual’s license to Wonder, “a new quick service restaurant concept” that’s coming to Medford.

According to Dan Brennan, who handles permits and licenses for Wonder, the restaurant partners with renowned chefs, such as Flay and Samuelsson, to recreate their recipes under one roof, Wonder.”

According to the website, the restaurant also partners with restaurants across the country recreating their best efforts. Brennan said customers will be able to get Chinese, Thai, Italian, tacos or pizza along with a variety of cuisines.

“The choices seem endless,” he said.

“All your cravings delivered for free,” so says the website.

Brennan said Wonder will be located in the Wellington Station area in the now defunct Walgreens at 50 Station Landing. The building was subdivided making the restaurant roughly 4,000 square feet. He said most of the space would be kitchen with only about 13 interior seats. Take out and delivery is their mainstay.

“We’re hoping to open in early February,” Brennan said, although the website now states a March 2026 opening.

Founded in 2018 by Marc Lore, ex-Walmart executive, Brennan said they’re working to open not only in Medford, but about 20 other locations in the greater Boston area. They are already operating in over 90 locations across New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maryland, Virginia and D.C.

“Wonder has solved many arguments on what’s for dinner?” Brennan said.

The council voted unanimously with no discussion to grant the license.
